Bridging the Entrepreneurial Divide The Entrepreneur Cafe, LLC

Enrollment for this course has closed
We all know someone looking to pursue the New American Dream of small business ownership. Yet now more than ever in this age of COVID-19 the startup landscape can be filled with unforeseen obstacles and steep learning curves that can slow or derail an entrepreneur's efforts. This can be due to the lack of a management team or ineffective management processes, not having an overall marketing strategy, access to capital constraints, and a lack of business resources.

The Entrepreneur Cafe, LLC in partnership with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and the National League of Cities is launching FastTrac, a comprehensive entrepreneurial training program that will be made available to 20 aspiring entrepreneurs who wish to take their existing business idea from the concept phase to actual business launch.

Program efforts will focus on Bridging the Entrepreneurial Divide by reducing some of the barriers to entry for small businesses and will begin to allow individuals from all communities to participate in this next wave of local innovation, entrepreneurship, economic development, and wealth creation.

Classes will be held weekly via Zoom over the course of 2 hours. Due to the amount of material to be covered both during class and outside of class students should be prepared to spend time weekly in preparation for each class as topics will not be repeated. Attendance is mandatory for each class so please check your availability for all dates prior to completing your registration.
